Every Friday from 1pm till 3pm it’s time to feed your ears with Bangers’n’Mash. Hosted by Paula, who has been on and off the air waves for the past 25 years. It’s all about the music, taking requests and mixing in brand new music with old school tracks to send you back in time. If you like hip-hop, rock, metal, punk, reggae, ska, alternative, Australian music or just music in general, then tune in. Guest co-presenters drop in from time to time to add some extra flavour to the mix, including Uncle Monkey who likes to throw some hard core and punk tracks out. Enjoy listening to special themed shows blending music facts, songs and funny stories into the Bangers’n’mash mix. Past themes have included dog songs, majic and voodoo, drug songs and dedications, and mondo greens. Local Artists drop in from time to time for a chat or to play live on the show. Not for the faint hearted, this show will get you vibed up for Friday night and the weekend ahead. Blending all kinds of genres, you can often hear an old vinyl record soothingly played with that old familiar needle on the record kind of crackle.
