Episode 42 – Schrodinger’s Cat Returns
The Cat Returns! (No relation to the most excellent Studio Ghibli Movie) As some of you wonderpeople who actually pay attention to my radio show on @3mdr97.1fm may know, back in February there was a problem with transmission due to severe weather events in the Dandenong Ranges and other parts of Victoria, power out, internet down etc. etc. Power was on, however, at the Studio, so I spoke into the microphone, played tunes and all the lights and meters were doing their thing. This was a broadcast to no-one however! Anyway, I dubbed it the Schrodinger Cat episode as it both existed and didn’t simultaneously. Thankfully the wonderful people in the 3MDR office (I think particular thanks is owed to Tina) recovered the digital files from the server. As I will be absent from the studio tomorrow, I thought it would be fun to finally have this episode aired. There is much confused rambling by moi as well as some repetition of the next weeks program, but hey. I never promised a Rose Garden! Apologies for my crapping on ad nauseam about how I’m probably transmitting to no one. As a broadcaster, I was having an existential crisis! 😆
