Episode 8 – Ancient Music, Ancient Instruments

Today I recap on the concepts behind the show and talk about some very ancient instruments such as the bone flute, Lithophones and the Ney flute as well as listen to music created on these instruments to hear how they actually sound. We listen to examples of Lithophone performance including an epic example of an ancient Nordic Poem “Odin’s Raven Magic” orchestrated and set to music and voice by Icelandic band Sigur Rós.
